VMLY&R Internal Projects

I was the lead developer/project lead on VMLY&R’s Internal Projects. This covers their public-facing company websites, the intranet, as well as multiple internal applications. I am leading a team of 6 other developers. As a team, we are working on PHP, Drupal, Laravel, Vue.js, Ember, Java, and other technologies. Personally, the development work I am doing includes Drupal, Laravel, and Vue.js.

Much of my time is spent managing the team and the various projects we are tasked with, gathering requirements from executives and upper management, and prioritizing tasks based on both need and demand.

As part of my work, I have been implementing scrum processes (I am Scrum Master certified) as well as Git Flow and other industry best practices. My goal is to run a tight ship and get us consistently following good processes to facilitate quality and timely delivery of development tasks/changes.
